What is a good computer for a kid at a rigorous private highschool that always uses a computer?

I need a computer that will be able to hold a lot of music, quick internet speeds, writing a ton of essays and aim too, and also watching movies without getting viruses.

First it depends on how much your willing to spend, If your looking for middle class price range of around 400-600 pounds I say the Sony Vaio NW Series laptop, its got a quick start button for quick internet start up. It also depends on how much your willing to spend 400-500 gets you a DVD drive, 600+ gets you a Blu Ray Drive. I would also sujest a Acer laptop because of their battery life and because of how cheap they can be, but don’t expect as high quality components as the Sony Vaio
