Question by Freedom: What are some methods of connecting a computer to non computer speakers?
Hello,
I am in the works of making a nice home theater setup. I am working on a projector, I have some above average computer speakers that I feel could be easily and cheaply replaced. I imagine acquiring some sort of receiver that would connect to a computer some how, and than from the receiver to the speakers. On the back of my PC I have 3.5 inch jacks, and two others, one is orange and one is grey. I the two ‘others’ are s-pdif or something to do with digital.

You’ll need an adapter cable:

plug the cable into the PC audio out jack and the other two RCA jacks into the receiver AUX (or similar) jacks.
