Question by C A: What could cause my computer not to load Youtube videos while on a wireless connection to my router?
I use a Belkin ‘Play’ router. My laptop computer loads every web page fine while connected by cable to my modem, but through the router it has frequent issues loading Youtube pages and videos, and intermittent issues loading other pages. We have another computer that loads pages fine while connected to the router, but mine has major problems with Youtube. What might cause this, and how to fix it?

I recommend you visit a friend’s house with your laptop, connect to his wireless network, and try Youtube out. At least you will be able to determine whether the problem is in your laptop or in your router. If it’s in your router, it’s cheaper to just buy a new router than to get someone capable of diagnosing this problem to spend the time to do it.
