Question by Genna: How you install a printer to a home computer?
I have a computer that several years old and the printer goes with it. At one time unconnected the printer for several years, Now I am trying to hook it back up. I have the thing plugged into the computer and outlet. Everything is hooked up correctly but I dont know how to add it to the computer. It wont work. The power is on and paper and ink is in it, everything is ready to go. I think the drivers are already into the computer. I am very frustrated with it.

it is assigned to one port if you do not know witch one uninstall it then reinstall the driver and it will work Again

Dificult to give a proper answer without a few more details
What operating system are you using
Whats the make and model of printer
How are you connecting the printer, by USB or another method
do you have the software disc that came with the printer
