I would need the exact message that pops up with the blue screen. It might be a driver update that is needed. the best way might be to take the computer back to where you got it and have them fix it or it might be quicker to update a driver or driver set your self… No way for me or anyone else here to know what is wrong until we know what the error message says and what computer it is and what drivers are installed… also when do these blues screens happen?

This many times happen due to corrupted software installed or due to over heating

It’s most likely a hardware problem. If can be a software problem like a virus, but if you sometimes have trouble starting up your computer, it’s your hardware. The most common causes would be your hard drive, video card, or memory card.
You can start by re-installing windows to make sure it’s not a software problem. If the blue screen still appears, it’s a hardware problem in which case you’d need to replace the broken part.

Known affectionately as the Blue Screen of Death (BSD).
Maybe hardware or software.
Try:
System restore to time before first BSD.
Uninstall all software and hardware since start of BSD.
Can’t read messages, then video them, this might explain problem.
Try to find what action causes BSD and uninstall

Great question. The ABSOLUTE best way is to reformat. BSOD occurs when there is a damaged operating system which means it won’t go away until it is fixed. Typically they are not fixed until you completely wipe the hard drive which is a good method of repairing the operating system. I would definitely suggest you reformat if you want an absolute gaurantee fix.
Keep in mind that reformatting your hard drive will wipe everything off of it, including any personal files you may want to keep. You can save these files with a device called an IDE/SATA to USB Adapter (Google “BT-300 topmicrousa”) and you should find a device that allows you to back up files without going through the slow or damaged operating system. It works like an external hard drive and I would definitely recommend it.
Good luck!
