Well, it's a power supply. It works fine. I used it to build a low-end system with an E5300 processor, basically cobbled together out of the cheapest possible components. This was my choice for power supply, because it would be hard to get something cheaper than this. It is absolutely nothing special, but it does what I need it to do. No problems.

The only "downside" as such is that it only has one SATA power connector. For my needs, I did not care at all. The computer will only have one hard drive, ever. Your needs may differ.

If you need an extremely cheap power supply like I did, this is for you. If you need something special, like high capacity for overclocking or for a fancy video card, or if you want a really efficient power supply, this is not for you. But you could probably figure that out from the price tag.

I was a little scared to buy this product, but I figured at this price why not. I have had this item now for several months and am now writing my review because I had to test it out before I could give an accurate review. I have no problems at all with this item. As far as I can tell it is not loud. But then again I don't have my computer in a room without any other noise so I really don't care. I installed it on a Compaq Presario with XP Pro and the system has only been shut off one time due to a power outage because of a storm. It works so great in fact that I am ordering another one for a friend's computer. I learned that I need to test some items for myself before I can assume it is not a good purchase. Fortunately this time I did not waste any money with this purchase.

It is really hard to beat the price on this. Is it the best PSU I've ever owned. Absolutely not. It feels a bit cheap, it only has one SATA connector, and it is a touch loud. But for the money, what more do you want? I needed a PSU for a few days to keep a system up during an upgrade cycle, and this fit the bill perfectly. If you need a dirt cheap PSU, this is a great choice.
