How to transfer a computer program from one computer to another?

My dad has photoshop on his work computer downstairs, but im technically not alowed on it. Photo shop costs a lot so i was wondering if theres a way to transfer it from his computer to mine.
(i dont have the instalation cd anymore)

You can’t do it without the intsallation CD.

i think you have to pirate a copy just like how your dad pirated his copy.

Generally no. Photoshop installs much more than the program files folder. It installs various registry settings (used to validate/activate the product, remember user settings etc). It will also create custom monitor profiles based on your selections at initial startup.
There is software that can attempt to do this for you – PC Mover. No I do not work for them, nor have I ever tried it. But we sell it where I work, and my customers rave about it.
