How much do computer scientist make compared to other jobs?

How much do they make compared to an average job? I have an interest in computers and was thinking about becoming a computer scientist.
How much do they make? And is it good money wise compared to other jobs?

The general answer is they make well above average salaries. I could site numbers, but I think it’s better if you check out salary websites like salary.com for info.
