Question by Praire Crone: How do you tell if your computer has been accessed from somewhere online?
A guest account has been created but my sister used my computer to check her email the other day. Would that automatically create such an account or has someone high jacked my computer? If so how do I disable it? Sorry I am not very computer savy. Thanks.

Most computers have a guest account. It’s something that Windows sets up. It doesn’t mean that someone has created it remotely. To disable the guest account, go to the Control Panel and click on Users or User Accounts.

Unless you give permission via the Administrator every guest account has to have an individual e-mail address

That is probably how she checked her e-mail, by first going to user accts on your control panel and turning on the guest acct. You can turn it off the same way, and I think you can password protect your administrative rights, therefore not allowing any changes w/o that password.
