I have a Dell desktop computer right now and it lags whenever I play a computer game or open multiple tabs or use AIM. It’s not the internet’s fault because on my sister’s laptop it works really fast. Any ideas or suggestions on what upgrades I should buy like RAM or processing? Include details please. Thanks!

uping the RAM is always a safe bet, also if you’re aiming to play games and such make sure your graphics card is pretty good. another thing to try is, if the computer is oldish, cleaning it out is always a good way to go (ex cleandisk, registry clean, and so on)
