How can I get itunes back on my computer?

Question by Skyscraper: How can I get itunes back on my computer?
I accidentally deleted quicktime on my computer, and now itunes wont work. I tried going to the itunes website to re install quicktime, but i still didnt work. How can I get itunes working on my computer? Also, if i plug my ipod into a different computer that doesnt already have itunes on it, can i start a new account on that computer?

go here and download quicktime then download itunes

QuickTime should have no effect on iTunes. Try re-installing both at http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
You should probably have to install iTunes on the computer that does not have it in order for you to sync your iPod, however, you may have to re-format your iPod for it to work on that computer, and this would delete everything on it.

if you plug your ipod into a new computer, all your songs and info might get deleted. did you restart the computer after you downloaded quicktime? because sometimes you have to restart it before it actually begins to work. you can start a new account but you might lose all of your songs unless you save them into a cd or folder or a storage device

Hi,
If you accidentally deleted quick timee, then click on start, go to search, and search all files and folders for tuness”. Otherwise if you have already downloaded quicktime and it still doesn’t work, simply re-install I-tunes, and uninstall quick time well doing this, because when you reinstall itunes it comes with quicktime.
