I love the wireless capability and the faultless paper feed. Mine is not a 610, it is a 40.

This is my fourth Epson printer, so setup was a breeze. This is my first that is also a copier and scanner, which made it a great value for the money. I mostly use the print feature. What first impressed me was the paper feeder, as older models often sent the paper through on an angle. With the Workforce 610 I trust that the paper will be squared up. Print quality is excellent. I am waiting to see how long the extra-capacity ink cartridges last, as I was fed up with the way my older model quickly sucked the ink out of the small cartridges. So far, this is the best Epson I have owned.

I just installed my new WorkForce 610 purchased from Amazon. I’ve installed it to work in the wireless mode, using my Win Vista laptop. The wireless setup was flawless and it detected my network immediately. I’ve only printed a few samples, but they look very good. Having had PC printers since the mid-80′s, going wireless for the first time has added some excitement to the procedure. The one and only glitch was that the driver disk didn’t work at all and I installed drivers from the Epson website. And that took a solid 15 minutes with quite a number of screens flashing. It made me a bit nervous wondering what all got installed besides drivers and the website didn’t really make that too clear. Regardless, the install went very well and it’s working perfectly in the wireless mode.

Bought the Epson, because I had an Epson printer. The unit functions totally as designed. Easy set up and use. As this is the only fax / scanner I have could not give it five stars, because I have not tested the competition. For the price and a one man office, this is an excellent value.
