The computer works better than I thought and I think Windows XP is much easier to use than Vista or even Windows 7 (although I might switch to 7 in a few years). This computer was a real bargain and I would recommend purchasing these kinds from Amazon. Thanks!

I purchased this computer for my sister, who is not very technical or computer savvy. She just wanted to surf the net, do e-mail and word processing. I was reluctant at the idea of a refurbished computer, but I got over it when I saw the whole package was only $299.99 plus shipping and handling.
It was easy to set up and the printer she had works great with it.

I’d like to say upfront that the first computer they shipped was was real lemon. DOA in several ways. I was pretty upset and wrote a negative review, since retracted. I thought I’d been had and would never recoup. I was wrong. This company was on the phone the day the review hit. They made good on everything and it didn’t cost me anything. They are very courteous and patient as I’m no computer whiz. I’m using the second computer they shipped and it’s running beautifully. There was the small glitch that one power cord wasn’t included, but a quick trip to Radio Shack solved that as I wanted to get up and running. The only other issue was the sound didn’t work. They called and walked me through some ideas that didn’t work out. However they overnight shippped a CD which took care of the problem perfectly. I’m sure dealing in reconditioned computers has it’s glitches, but that I was one the reciving end of quite a few problems just had to be a fluke. I can tell anyone to go ahead and buy from this company. Their word is gold and this computer is like new, fast, smooth and quiet. I didn’t think I could afford anything this versatile. Thanks!
