I just received this microphone and was impressed with the quality of the voice – However, I should have paid more attention to the reviewer who said that you have to hold the button to speak. It’s true – This is a great inconvenience for me and that is why I have reduced the rating to a 3 – maybe I should have given it only 2 stars for this inconvenience but the overall quality is very good for a $6 microphone.

GREAT LITTLE MIC THAT I PUT TO USE ON MY DESKTOP FOR MIXING SPECIAL AUDIO TRACKS , WORKS GREAT AND IT’S PRICED TO FIT ALL BUDGETS . AMAZON HAS GREAT PRICES ON MOST ITEMS THEY SELL BUT WHAT MAKES AMAZON A GREAT PLACE TO SHOP IS IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH AN ITEM THEY STEP UP TO THE PLATE AND MAKE SURE YOU ARE SATISFIED OR THEY REFUND YOUR MONEY OR HAVE THEIR SELLERS REFUND OR REPLACE THE ITEM . I GIVE AMAZON 10 STARS…

the goose neck works very well for me. i’m a gamer and use this for talking over ventrillo.
i’ve purchased 3 headsets(which hurt my big ears over time) and this is my 2nd mic. the first was a logitech which worked well initially. but later i had problems with people trying to hear me,even after i performed the mic test in windows. friends told me to try a mic that connect to computer via a dedicated line in jack instead of usb.
i haven’t had a problem and have used this product since dec 2009

For the price this microphone exceeded my expectations. I’m using it with a Spanish computer language program I have, and it’s working perfectly.
