Question by June: What is the difference between computer science and computer programming? Somebody please explain this in terms I can understand. I want to do something in computers when I grow up. I like programming but would like to know more. What is the different between a computer scientist and computer programmer? Don’t they overlap in certain ways? Best answer: Answer by FredericComputer programming is just that: writing programs that make computers work. Computer science, on the other hand, is the study of HOW computers work. It’s everything from turning sand into silicon (and why that matters) into how electric flow turns computer “gateways” into information. It takes some knowledge of computer science to be a…. Question by rekusodragon: How do i fix my computer when the start up turns blank? Every time i boot my computer, the computer is only blank. It doesn’t go up to anything else. Question by rdrnatn24: Can i connect computer speakers to a home theater reciever? I have 3 onkyo speakers and a 2.1 computer speaker set. I am planning on buying a 5.1 receiver. Would i be able to use the 3 real speakers for front left front right and center, then use the computer speakers for the rear? I’m assuming i would have to cut the cable on the computer speakers to make them connectible. Is this correct? Thanks. Best answer: Answer by Cyberthe main thing is that the computer speakers match the output impedance of the 5.1 receiver. ( 8 ohm output to 8 ohm speaker.) the onkyo’s may be an odd impedance.. Question by Drifter: Running a computer in a hot and humid environment? I am planning on putting a desktop computer in a small (10′ by 10′) room. The room has about 60% humidity and is usually 75 degrees Fahrenheit (23.8 degrees Celsius). These numbers are strictly regulated and hardly vary at all. I was wondering if running the computer in an environment like this would cause it to break or lose performance? Is there anything that could be done to the computer to prepare it for the environment such as adding an extra fan or putting packets of Desiccant or silica gel in the chamber?
