I have a 2wire homeportal. I have the first computer pluged in by ethernet, and I can go to website, talk to friends on this computer. On my second computer, it allows me to share files with this computer through a network, but I can not browse the interent on it or talk to friends. My 2wire is a wirless dsl external modem.
