A great laptop at a great price,
The Asus A52F series is a capable notebook with a great fit and finish. The included features are also great – HDMI out allows you to connect the laptop to a larger display and watch HD movies wherever you may be. Speed is more than acceptable for all but the hardcore user, and the included memory is also quite sufficient. Setup is quite easy on the first run and takes only minutes. The included numeric keypad is a nice touch and the keyboard itself has a nice feel to it. The overall appearance generates a lot of nice comments, it’s very sleek and well made.
Like most vendors, Asus includes a lot of software (bloatware) that is completely unnecessary. I spent more time removing the silly add-ons than I did configuring the machine; if you’re not picky you may find some of them useful but I personally have no use for most of it. Also, the touchpad is much like any other, despite the product description – you will likely have to adjust the sensitivity so that it does not move the cursor when resting your hands on the casing. Battery life is average.
I would highly recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a new machine; hardcore gamers will want more horsepower but this unit is a great daily driver.

Decent laptop,
The laptop is pretty good for the price, but it comes with a bunch of extra software that needs to be disabled or uninstalled to improve the speed. The display is very nice and it runs most programs very well, but the biggest problem is the keyboard. The keyboard feels very flimsy and some of the buttons on the laptop I got don’t work well and I have to backspace or edit a lot because the key didn’t work the first time.
I would give it a 6/10 with the keyboard problem.
