Order and using the product for over two months with no problems. Exactly what it says it is. Not the quitest ever, but pretty good. Plus it’s nice to actually have a manual. Not that it was really needed, but still nice to have.

I bought this power supply for an old Pentium II computer that sits in my home’s basement, runs Linux OS and serves as an internet router for six other computers located in other rooms. The router works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The original power supply burnt out when its fan stopped. Thus, I decided to buy a replacement power supply with a more reliable fan. The new power supply, 300W Long Life Atx Pc Computer Power Supply with a Ball Bearing Fan, has exactly the right physical dimensions as well as the number of electrical connectors and their types. It was an easy job to remove the old power supply and to replace it with the new one. The fan in the new power supply is amazingly quiet, but it provides sufficient cooling. The computer with the new power supply consumes about 20% less power from a 120V AC outlet as compared with the same computer when it had the old poser supply. This is a significant improvement in energy efficiency.

I have no complaints with this power supply, but all i’m am using it to power is an old pentium II machine that doesn’t require alot of juice. Overall this product installs easy just like any other power supply and would probably be sufficient for any basic pc. I give this power supply a 5* because it meets all my system requirements and has gave me no trouble.
